BoC recorded almost 100 songs for Geogaddi and chose the final songs based on how well they fit with the feel of the album.

i often think about that, often, perhaps too often, perhaps we've already heard some of it in their later tracks. we'll never know unless they tell us.

someone brought up again there about the 2nd half of what was 'rumoured' to be a double album.
oh lordy, one can only imagine. that would be a surprise as many would be expecting an ep as per usual.

strange. i don't think anyone suggested they were yet. it's more about thematic similarities. two different images of radome and antenna to reference the picture of both that boc uses.

more tl;dr:
someone mentioned the antenna might be in bethlehem fla, but it might not lead anywhere. I don't expect there to be a record store there, or for them to use that again either. biblical references can be fun, but who knows. i do like the way they nest references and point to things indirectly. for example, white cyclosa may be a reference to a zombie (re-animators of the dead, like the spider, + the Romero nod), which would in turn be a reference to something else, like a contagion or something that people would react to similarly. unless it really is about spiders, zombies, and tornadoes all at once, which really just sounds like the next sharknado. i'm going to go ahead and write that script while we wait for more.

I just can't connect "IlluminatiOnly" with Boards Of Canada, the Illuminati theme doesn't really fit their type of mystique in my opinion.

I'm aware of that, but a hashtag on AdultSwim with Illuminati seems a bit cheap and very ridiculous. I only gave it thought with: "Illumination Only" - but even then, it's a stretch IMO

I agree, though the illuminati thing may be something people on Adult Swim's end added in. Other than that it sounds VERY much like the stuff last year, it sounds like something BoC would do, right down to the "listen closely" request without punctuation.
