My comment was simply that they already made Tomorrow's Harvest - they need not make it again.

and my response was they're not going to so chill out
we all know you hate TH so like what's your point right now?

Please don't tell someone else to look at the body of work of one of their favorite bands ever unless you know their history with that band and how new they are/qualified to have an opinion about said band.

na im good

edit: i mean if you say redundant and ~slightly~ inflammatory things about said "favourite" band then what do you expect really?? im chill tho

If it's inflammatory to you that I don't like a particular style of BoC, you need to lighten up - no guilt here anymore about telling someone what to do since you don't care.

What do I expect? Probably that people don't take the opinions of others as some sort of slander to them. I don't care for the bulk of TH and its style (I don't "hate" it) but not once have I mocked or made fun of someone because they do. My criticisms of BoC aren't directed at an individual here, it would make no sense if they were. If you must have it explained then I wasn't saying anything more redundant than anyone else. I said "hopefully it isn't a preview of what's to come" because frankly it's nothing special at all. This is the band that made Geogaddi, and hearing the overuse of arps culminating in total filler tracks like Collapse is disappointing to me. I didn't like the direction. My thoughts on it have nothing to do with you though, nothing whatsoever.

Anyways, let's look at the situation again: I stated an opinion, you told me to take a chill pill. Not everyone is going to like what you like or act the same way about it, that's life. That's my point. Good to know you're "chill tho" even though you responded to fujee with "hey im not out here whinging about arps!!", actually posted "na im good" on Twoism, seem to care quite a bit about someone saying something, as you said, slightly inflammatory about BoC and finally, putting in quotations that BoC is one of my favorite bands without really noticing the fact that I've been here for a while, posted a lot about BoC and even stated that Geogaddi along with a few other records actually kept me from killing myself in dark times. That's childish - no offense meant.

He's apparently too busy to read a response so I don't think you have to worry about this going on any longer.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

i actually don't find TCH ep much of a leap from TCH album so if the next ep is like TH, the thank you message predicts yes but then again there be just another album in 10 years from now. i think the TCH lp to TCH ep period can easily lead people to expect a TH extension on the horizon, who knows

i'm just pumped for whatever they want to sell me tbh, i don't mind if it's loaded with arps and sounds exactly like TH or if they play a fucking mandolin for 3 hours
bring it on

Flutes.mp3 is one of my favorite BoC tracks - I'd like an accompanying Mandolin.mp3

3 hours of it on a loop? Nah, you'd need to be on drugs.

Did someone download the YouTube video that contained the new snippet of music? It was removed from YouTube apparently.

Could you provide me a link?

First post:

I've been really interested in that blast of gobbeldygook BoC sprayed at the SAY awards audience back in 2014. I can barely make out the film in the video posted on youtube; its frustrating as any new film work is very interesting.

Anyway, using some lousy sounding cheats in an audio editing program like a stereo pan delay I managed to give the SAY audio a bit more dimension than in the original recording. A lot of things before not apparent to me jumped out, mostly a diamonionism of some kind which I had taken for crowd gabble.

Thoughts?

Bringing back this old dusty thread just to say that the synth used to make that arpeggio heard in the SAY award video is a Juno 60. (for those who really care)
