But I think that the track in youtube is not in the collection. Could be interesting though.

Here's the Alain Clavier track from that collection:

Not the one used in that Park Canada commercial.

it would appear that this little tune was used quite often for parks canada commercials

the NFBOC and Parks Canada are two separate entities even though they both fall under the Canadian government

Sure but that compilation includes a track by same composer Alain Clavier. That Metadata ( extrait ) someone posted earlier on. Interesting stuff. Not as BoCish as in the Parks Canada clip though.

Bloody hell, that was a cool commercial. Beautiful music; reminded me not only of BOC of course but also Miles Davis - that descending synth melody is similar to "Blue in Green".

I wish all adverts were like that

i ripped the audio of this track and tossed in on a yearly chill out comp i make for friends entitled "bedtime with buddha"

recently discovered the unlabeled disc in an old CD binder and instantly fell in love with this little vignette all over again

bumping this for others to enjoy who missed it the first time around 4 years ago. bloody hell where has the time gone

Beautiful - I wouldn't be surprised if Acid Memories sounded a lot like this.

The samples in that have to be the inspiration for Dawn Chorus, as well as PC.
Saw a blind man walking down the street
Greets every person he chanced to meet
Saw a cop write a ticket to a man over fifty
Fell over laughing screaming he was a hippie
Ran into a granny had a smile on her face
Broke a trophy she just won in a race

Don't worry about the future
Forget about the past
Whether it's good or bad
It's a gas

Thanks for bumping this as I hadn't had the pleasure of listening back then. Beautiful, and as an earlier poster pointed out, you can really hear and see where a majority of BoC's influences lay.
