Really liking this! So much going on there. Sounds like The Tuss, Come to Daddy EP & Windowlicker combined.

Yeah this is track is so great it's crazy, it's so dense that at first I almost don't get everything around it, it's like 5 different tracks in one< I think it can be a problem for some people, my girlfriend just said "It would get amazing reviews, because it's genius and so simple" yeah simple, fuck me simple

I'm getting vibes from A Few Old Tunes. Especially Trapped. I guess it's from that bouncy eco.

Took three or four listens for it to grow on me. Wasn't fussed about it initially. Sounded old. The bassline sounded very similar to Windowlicker. Then you've got the (kind of) annoying vocals. It's pretty good though, obviously being aphex it's head & shoulders above a lot of other stuff without really even trying. I'm hoping for better stuff on the rest of the album.

That's the impression I get from the Quietus review.

I really like what we've heard, but to be honest I prefer the version we know as the Manchester Track. It feels like he has added certain discordant elements on top of the studio mix which I don't feel are necessary, and replaced those percussion samples that I thought were really perfect. But maybe that is because I am so used to listening to the live version.

Anyway looking forward to the rest.

Apparently Aisatsana is the swinging grand piano track from the Barbican show.

Got back from the listening party last night. The whole album was insanely good. It felt like what druqks would have been if it had some rhyme or reason. The last track was another prepared piano piece. It kind of felt out of place, but it was very beautiful.

Were there any tracks on the album that you listened to and thought "Wow this is epic. I'd listen to this on repeat" or anything like that?

Definitely. The whole album almost felt like that. Aphex mentioned how this was the most accessible out of his new stuff coming out, and I can definitely see why (not saying that's a bad thing) the place felt like a proper rave at times, and the first clouple tracks he really brings back his acid house stuff, then switches it over to some glitch. But all the while, it wasn't just completely left field, it had me hooked the entire time

After many listens now this track is awesome. It was awesome the first time too.

Is it just me or is it laden with tongue in cheek/sarcasm? It has this humour to it that I am loving - I guess a lot of previous RDJ has had a humorous undertone going on.

The Korg Mini Pops MP7, released in 1967. Jean Michel Jarre used one in oxygene. Analogue drum machine fun for the whole family! I have a strong feeling one or a few of these were used in this song, based on the title and the drums in the song. This may be really obvious to some but here is the love anyway.
