I really hope Syro lives up to my expectations

That is the exact. fucking. order. for me as well including just those albums if you were to swap RDJ album and SAW1's place. Come to Daddy is somewhere there right around Druqks. Bunch of little things like On and Didgeridoo scattered all over the place, but for the most part holy shit - that's seriously gotta be the order.
Okay...now...wait for fog machine.

Normally don't have anything to say, but I heard Syro today (only up to syrobonkus mix).

AND IT'S SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!!!!!!!!!!! (read: good)

Xmas eve is like butter,
and circlont6a... yep, dancin' in ma chair! You just can't not to it! Don't think I've ever heard Aphex so funky, so R&B, so danceable!

Anywho, guess I just wanted to brag.

Fuck yeah that is a really good activity to do whilst listening to afx!

I wish I had a modular to build for when I receive new afx.

Maybe i will just bake a cake.

Pretty decent.

My fave tracks are:

CIRCLONT6A (Syrobonkus Mix)
S950tx16wasr10 (Earth Portal Mix)
Aisatsana

2nd favorites:

Minipops 67 (Source Field Mix)
Produk 29
4 bit9d api+e+6

I don't know if to buy flac only to support Richard... or actually get the CD (which is only good to play in the car)... 6 tracks wicked 6 tracks meh... oh well *flips coin*

It's a really interesting listen on vinyl. The "middle" record feels quite different to the ones that open and close the album. The first and last thirds are quite funky, with a lot of his rubbery squelchy bass paired with soft analog pads and definite grooves. The middle third, on a first listen, feels more brittle, less rounded with an almost 8-bit quality to some of the sounds. It's almost as if it's 3 EPs bundled together.

I'm with Cupz here - Produk 29    :D :D :D

It seems Warp/Bleep didn't change much compared to the release of TH. How come I only just received a dispatch email and live outside the UK with an estimate arrival of 7-14 days and the UK already have their copy? Didn't they say they'll post international orders a few days ahead??

Anyway, waiting for mine to arrive.

Produk 29 - :!: I love it.

So the art work with the huge gear list... All the dots that are next to the gear names represent what track that piece of gear was used on. Same as the rooms at the end of the gear list 'bank thin room' or 'bedroom'. Pretty cooooool 8) Someone in the world worked this out not I.

Here is a spreadsheet that breaks it all down.

When I listened to it and could match the gear to the songs it was quite funny there was heaps of "you can make that with that?"

There is a sheen/polish on syro that excites me muchly!

There wasn't any chance I was going to order this from Bleep after the TH experience. I have a good friend to thank for hearing it early. :)
