The first thing I wanna get: Novation Bass Station II

For me I would have never saved up the $ on my own to get my Octatrack but had a plan in place with Sweetwater to send them $ whenever I could. Now in just a bit over a month I have it paid off. Next up, Analog RYTM!

This arrived today, and I couldn't be happier! Not as impressive as some of the module setups in this thread, but surprisingly powerful for a piece of budget gear. Also I'll include the youtube demo that tipped me over the buying edge, and I think you guys will enjoy that!

I have one of these off the recommendation of some Twoismers here and it's lovely! Wind is a bit of a bitch, but that's what filters are for.

Yeah I heard it can be a bit of an issue so I spent 10 pounds extra and got the accessories pack, wind shield, tripod, case etc... Glad its getting great reviews off everyone, I did wonder whether something that cheap was just a glorified dictaphone.. but obviously not, which is great! Love that you can record in 16-bit/44.1 kHz to 24-bit/96 kHz WAV or just low bitrate MP3. I got a 16gb SD card just so I have the flexibility.

I only have a mic with my gf's underwear as a popfilter, 8 vst's and a butt-load of open-source software.

I finally saved up some dough for a new video card! I bought Nvidia's Geforce GTX 970 from EVGA. Can't wait for it to come in the mail. It's quite a leap from my old GTX 570.

My CPU fan died, so I bought a liquid cooling kit for a decent price too.

My next big purchase is the Novation Bass Station II.

Yeah, I've always wanted these speakers and needed an amp to do them justice, demoed them with the Rega and it was a lovely match. Hi Fi is an addiction I can't really justify with my current income though, soon I will have to let it be for a good few years. I'd like to get a new DAC and CDP though. Always one more thing to buy.. still I have this Scotch.. all is well with Scotch.
