Someone put this up on reddit.

Visually it kind of fits into the Tomorrow's Harvest theme.
And the declaration at the beginning is a bit like One very important Thought. If read out in a warning style narration.

The pencil drawings conjure up some interesting images for a TH video ? :}

I think that they felt a deep responsibility to make Tomorrow's Harvest... and to express what they felt was important required more explicit concepts.

Did anyone else pick up on this in the UK?
About 33 seconds onwards... Same angle same city same smog.
No connection or anything, mind.

Not saying there isn't a difference, but whether it is as perceptible as people think is another matter for me.

Basically, look forward to using those good headphones :]

You need to hear it on a £45,000 system...

So we are coming up to 3 years this was released. I have to say I thought that the long waits for releases would possibly be over with TH, but 3 years down the line and nothing other than a few remixes. I understand some long periods of inactivity with bringing up families, traveling and other personal responsibilities but it would be nice to have a release a bit sooner than every 3 to 8 years. Most good bands tour for a full year after a release and still release albums regularly.

For me this has been the longest wait for a new release, more so than the 8 year gap between TCH and TH, it's entirely up to them when they release stuff but it would be nice if releases flowed a tad faster.

Expecting BoC to behave like a normal band will only lead to disappointment. I've sort of developed the mindset that all the BoC we have now is all we'll ever have. I know they'll release more work, but I'm no longer frustrated by how long it takes to come out. At least we know it'll be top quality stuff :)

I mean come on, now a days with all the social media, I don't see why they can't as least put out a tweet or something to let us know they're still around.....

Because maybe they don't want to?
They could have give news from them long before social networks came to be and never did so I don't expect them to do that just because it's easier now or trendy or whatever. I would even be disappointed, I can't see the duo tweeting something like "Hey guys, be sure that we work on our new EP!"... It's just not them.

But it's more or less what they did with the two last remixes, they shared it on facebook and twitter.

Sorry that my sarcasm was lost in translation. I have no problem "waiting" for anything for them and don't need constant updates to feel like it's ok..

Three years and I am finally getting to a point where this feels like a solid part of their catalogue.

I never disliked Tomorrow's Harvest, but I definitely didn't feel about it the way that I felt about most everything else they'd released.

It's "clicking" with me now for some reason.

I was pretty much about the make the exact same post, weird! I've really started warming to this record recently. I think it has less obvious standout tracks, but as a whole piece it does very well at creating an atmosphere.

i agree in the sense that this is a complete album. there is no time where i thought to myself, i'll just listen to one specific track, i usually choose to the listen to the album in full.

i haven't really listened to the album in a while, i want it to sound fresh again so i put it away for a while. but i personally believe tomorrows harvest will be more highly regarded after boc release another 2 or 3 albums (if they do). itll be one of those albums that again momentum with time.

or tomorrow's harvest being their last album (which is probably not true) but still it got that tone, for me, this is very polished work, I remember some people, probably trolling, were saying that this album sounds like it was finished in two weeks :) yeah funny as fuck, I actually think that TCH was a perfect goodbye album, in my opinion, and TH came like undead from the grave, this is my impression,
anyway TH still solid as fuck, it has so many points of different insperations to take, from artwork and track tittles, and music so it really interesting how they approach their other releases, probably don't know much

If there is a point to make, they will make it. I think the beauty of the fact they make instrumental works is that one can explore some pretty controversial subjects and things that would get them taken out by the secret service if they where more 'up front' about it etc etc. I feel a lot of ground covered is sacred.

This applies to all BoC generally but.

I think people have this image of two people messing around with machines and telling computers when notes should be played etc etc when in reality they are really fucking talented keyboard players and good instrumentalists who sample their own music.
