I'm not posting in this thread too much?

I know there are probably some people who have issues - thinking "oh this dude is posting so much stuff, he can't possibly be actually listening to it and taking it in, he doesn't value music"

But I sincerely do! When you're a stupid loser like me (thanks for the new adjective, re-phalem-ed!) I don't really have much else to do but dedicate myself to this stuff.
I just like what I hear, there's no rhyme or reason.

You're not posting in this thread enough, ttk. I like most of your picks.

anxiously adding The Avalanches' Wildflower,

I have to admit though, I can't stop listening to it.

I believe it. I dont know if I'm getting caught up in hype or what, but it's still a really fun listen.

I already have, and I will continue to do so,

I thought his record from last year was a little too steeped in its Van Morrison and John Martyn influences, but thanks for letting me know that he's got a new one coming out soon.

I'll be sure to give it a go!

Just had my first back to back listen of the new Avalanches "Wildflower"
I ended up not liking the single "Frankie Sinatra" at all and was really worried about the rest of the album.
I have to say I was really enjoying that first listen, notable moment: Orchestra transition at 3:07 in "Because I'm Me"
Some of the more organic transitions in the songs reminded me heavily of Campfire Headphase.
So I like it, and it's totally going to be on repeat this summer.

standout tracks for me.

- Because I'm Me
- Subways
- Colours
- Harmony (beautiful track!)
- Livin' Underwater (is somethin' wild)
- The Wozard of IZ
- Stepkids
- Saturday Night Inside out (love that filtered phase effect on the lead)

*placeholder for S U R V I V E and the Stranger Things score*

Just finished the show and it was amazing - one of those reasons was the score done by S U R V I V E. I heard that the soundtrack was going to be released, hopefully it will be the score, or at lease include some of it!

They also have a new album that is going to be released September 30th!

I saw Tobacco about two years ago ... incredible show and mind-blowingly filthy

Stumbled on this, some mad future house/2-step Burial-Vaporwave hybrid.

I would like to add that Weval live isn't that spectacular if people want to see them live, I've seen them twice now, quite underwhelming, I like their music though.
