Sequoia and forest moon are both about the same place, if you think about it.

the word psychedelic is spelled with a 7
and in the second paragraph, the word Other is actually spelled with a zero, so its 0ther.
he made the post at 7:47 also.

I don't want to mislead anyone or give false hope, in terms of time, I believe we're only 60% of the way to the finish line (release date) if you look at June 6th, 2016 as the start. Warp will have a few major releases between now and then; I'm not even entirely convinced its not an Old Tunes type thing either, when it does happen.
It's definitely "soon" in relation to the glacial pace that they like to release work at though. "This year" always beats "we have no idea", right?

warp have a habit of releasing by season and the sound of the album in question
something to bear in mind

You just said this like it would be 2015, at least I was for a moment when you brought 2016 june 6th, great date overall for anything, now you have 2020 02 20, or 2023 12 23 anything else?

Sorry, you lost me here. I think there's a great Friday coming up this September (as in, 2017) that provides almost perfect parity for 6/6/16, which is when their social media posts started.
I'm just enjoying the ride for now.

What if it's a compilation of old material? They might already know what it sounds like. I'm sure Warp management has had an idea of their intentions for some time now, even if we don't. It's also much easier to put a definite date on the release of pre-existing material a year in advance if you were inclined to do so. A year and some months to remaster/curate some old material isn't a crazy deadline to put on yourself. I believe they've already done much of that work inbetween TCH and TH anyways
Regardless of all that, I think they are probably one of the very few artists in their roster aside from RDJ and Autechre who have carte blanche to release what they want, when they want. Aside from TCH none of their albums have felt to me like the time of year that they were released in, but I guess that's all subjective anyways.

mike and marcus contacted me via messenger pigeon yesterday. they told me their newest release will be on march 32nd, at 25:30 UTC. they've got the fanciest release ever planned, they're going to have a huge crowd of crabs with cassette tapes strapped to their backs visit everybody with a twoism account. they were really vague about the content of the album as a whole, but they sent me a clip that i'll post tomorrow.
i may have misread the signature though, could have been those guys mrrk and mrrkus that have been following me around asking me for food lately.
