I don't know where this from. It has some connection to Boards of Canada (they produced a track with this story and computer voice reading out the lyrics), but the animation seems to be from an extremely creepy Sesame Street vignette or something.

I don't have speakers on this computer but it appeared as if the animation went along with the audio for story of xentrix. I love that track.... I'm not sure why. the computer voice reminds me of back in the day. I like the animation, it's pretty cool

Well I think BoC just sampled the audio from this video and used it for their track.

Or do you think it's the other way around? But that can't be because I was told by Joyrex that this animation is a couple of years older than the Hell Interface track.. so basically the only thing BoC did was rip the audio from this video and renamed it to Hell Interface... kinda lame? But I'm not 100% sure about this; correct me if I'm wrong!

I've had this video on my pc for a while. I've always thought it was a fan-made video for the story of xentrix. But... maybe it is the sample source... I doubt it's a seasame street vignette though...

I think the Boards' track was placed over the top of the Seasame Street video. The original story just had that weird jazzy music on it. And, uh, the Boards made a vocal story to go with it? Oh, I'm confusing myself.

No way is that a Sesame Street vignette.

I still think the audio came from somewhere else.. somewhere far far away.

This is a Microsoft 3D Movie Maker movie by a Robert Domke.

The Hell Interface track was released on WIFOF2003 mix in January 2003. According the the 3DMM page, and
this review, the animation was released in March 2003. So it seems pretty clear that he just use the pre-existing HI track for his animation.

This came up a few years ago (perhaps when the animation was first released), there wasn't anything at that time either to suggest that the animation was the original source.
