BTW, just noticed the fan video you linked there actually features cuts from BR2049. Nice.

Yeah well, it was the only video of that track on the internet afaik. Still, not a bad coincidence, great movie :)

Must be played through quality headphones. I swear they must have put the mic instead his cello. The tone is huge. You can hear the guy breathing during quieter sections. Just incredible.

I recently discovered this electronic duo called Bullitnuts, from Fila Brazillia co-founder Steve Cobby's label, Pork Recordings. Theyre from the same city as Fila Brazilia and also make downtempo music like them. They didn't last long sadly but they have a bunch of songs I like from their three album releases. Here's one of them from their first album, 1st of the Day called Joker in My Yard.

This is one of the best tracks Aphex has done imo and it was a gift to the fans from his Soundcloud dump.
Such beautiful synergy between the harsh industrial percussion and the voice and synth!

Love the late 70's early 80's vibes. Reminds me of stuff by Al Stewart and such.

This track is so beautiful. I really need to listen to Wagon Christ and just Luke Vibert's back catalogue in general. Sorry I Make You Lush is a pretty good album.

Really loving the new Epic45 album 'Through Broken Summer'.

Probably the closest a guitar-based band get to BoC's ambience. Lovely vignettes merged between the songs too.

This feels to me like their most 'band-like' release in so far as most of the tunes contain vocals and drums, but they can create a blissful atmosphere like no other.
Probably the best of their last few I think, although they haven't done anywhere near a duff album yet. 'May Your Heart Be the Map' is still absolute perfection for me.

Probably my favorite song off of Permutation. Love the drum and bass portion a lot!

Thanks for the recommendation, I really enjoyed it. It does kind of have that BoC feel if they had continued in the vein of TCH

Beautiful drum and bass track from my favorite electronic artist at the moment, Fila Brazillia. The 7 minute mark is the best part of the track and is always a joy to get to.

Also don't worry I still love BoC I just got into Fila in May and for now they surpassed my love for Boards. XD
