Yes, it's a fretless bass with a touch of chorus on it. Kate Bush's bass player is John Giblin but the sound originated with Jaco Pastorius.

It's funny how our speculation as to whether the current track is BoC original affects our reaction to it. Like if it's a good track, we want it to be BoC and then some of us are a bit disappointed when we find out it isn't. Not trying to be on a high horse -- I can sympathize with those feelings.
