Ok, now I'm totally convinced that the page
https://www.facebook.com/Hell-Interface ... 955414202/ is legit.
As of a week ago, the page
https://www.facebook.com/HellInterface was just some random guy's personal page (can't remember the name). But it has now gone totally private. He either privated his page due to increased interest, or had a cease and desist sent to him from Warp or the band. Either way, that leaves the other page as the only HI page that is still around. It would have also been pulled down by now if it was unofficial.
It's totally them, and we're 100% back to another black box preview. The downside is, the last time that happened it was a year or two before anything was fully announced

I mentioned a few pages back that the Hell Interface YouTube channel that was a fan account changed its name to hell i/o

this has surely been noted by someone earlier but when viewing the boardsofcanada bandcamp on desktop a black space fills where a next album would be.. creating a 3x3 square
It's probably just coincidence, but thats kinda what triggered the original black box theory no?

Where at?

If you're referring to the empty space on the lower right that's actually at the beginning of the discog, not the end. I think it's just a side effect of how Bandcamp displays albums when you've got exactly 8 of them lol

That place would be occupied with Hi Scores but that one is under Skam and their bc only has Warp Records releases, its just a coincidence with how Bandcamp organizes discographies, I've seen rows of 4 (aphetwin.bandcamp, squarepusher.bandcamp) for artists that have many releases listed, while for artists with 9 or 8 releases they get rows of 3 (godspeedyoublackemperor.bandcamp, dusternumero.bandcamp for example)

Yeah, it's probably nothing.. just thought it was worth noting

I think I found something strange guys.

This eric guy's comment stinks of weirdness. so i checked him out. his account created when? April 2011 ........
Only one video uploaded 11 months ago.
WARNING: Creepy and very offputting if you're not expecting it.
Do you guys see it ... it's made of AI audio which sounds like jukebox AI. the background picture is AI generated.
The video contains chinese stuff and the description lists all oldschool video game console.
The only other thing on this channel is the playlist section which is composed of ... old school videogame videos and chinese stuff.

This whole thing has bad vibes it took me a good 5 minutes to recover I really wasn't expecting the creepy video and it was very unsettling to me.

But what in the world where the ppic and video all about? was it all just a joke? testing the waters?
Especially if we're 100% sure it's legit, it feels like it must mean something..

i highly doubt it will be another couple years
if the Hell Interface page is real, which, i think it is...
i just cannot see them doing whacky shit like this and then nothing happening for years.
it seems there is a good chance we will at the very least get some kind of official announcement this year.
personally i'm leaning toward something actually happening this year but i'm not fully convinced. that would be a bit nutty to be fully convinced. could be next year but beyond that i'm pretty skeptical that all of this stuff means nothing.

I'm not sure if my previous post was deleted or did I just didn't send it, but did you guys had smartphones in 2001? There seems to be other people in the audience recording with smartphones.

https://hellinterface.bandcamp.com/communityjust noticed that the pioneer plaque banner appears also on bandcamp if you go to the community page.

He's probably talking about CRT screens in front.

I am pretty sure there was no banner before. And yes that is indeed real profile then. That just can't be a coincidence.

It does look as if there are 2 or 3 rectangular shaped screens to the bottom right of the video, but these are just the CRT screens at the front, at an angle.

Nice find. That would be compatible with my vague memory that Pioneer may have been on Sheol quite a while ago, maybe from the beginning.
Are you talking about this specific bandcamp banner img?
https://f4.bcbits.com/img/0021464126_100.pngand what tool did you use to look at this metadata?
