I also don’t feel the need for another ARG. I would take a shadow drop though…

yes arg: 1

There's more than just 0 or 1 in Warp's promotion of albums....
Rest assured, Warp will make sure the next BoC album gets a respectful rollout.
And I'm pretty sure it will take at least a few weeks.

I posted back in Nov but not sure if anyone noticed, the original link probably expired and so will this one. I've tried posting on YT but (thankfully) Warp/FUGA strikes shorts longer than 60 sec
Sorry desktop users idk formatting

I'm guessing this is a "remix" where the goal is to make people think it is an authentic extended mix, but kind of hard to tell from this video.

Somehow Cardiacs with Tim Smith is more active than BOC.

Amazing what passion, will and desire can accomplish.

Apparently he wrote all the songs on the new album. Mike Vennart ex-Oceansize is singing on it.

Maybe because one week later, Fri Sep 19th, Orangutang releases.
In that regard maybe an extra week later, Fri Sep 26th, would be even better?

- Aug 15: Twoism 30
- Sep 19: Orangutang (feat. a song co-written by Mike)
- Sep 26: Something BoC?
- Oct 17: Campfire 20

Autumn BoC could be upon us?

The question is will these be old tunes, or new tunes? I think the concept of them having all their catalog fully accessible is finally becoming a reality. You could technically use this analytics software as a type of "soundcloud" clone. Its also really just a nice fancy CMS for poking through a database, think PHPMyAdmin. You would how ever need to have some programming abilities.

If you end up having to code something to go with this, I shall be on it straight away.

I’m thinking a BoC release would completely upstage Orangutang’s if it came out prior to Sept. 19th. End of September or October is my new guess.

15 or so, I remember being apart of the salad finger zeitgeist.
And then didn’t really put it together that the music I was listening was them until about 05-06 when a girlfriend of mine put Chroma-key Dreamcoat on a burnt CD for me.

The early days of the internet and the early days of Boards of Canadas internet presence was deeply interesting, its a bit of a blur but I remember digging into theories and old web pages and forums that had some pretty interesting information.
I remember the black box theory, I remember an old skyliner video of rocket boosters separating off and spiraling away. I remember web pages that had the audio clips of acid memories, I was young back then and never thought that a fascination with a band would last as long as it had with them.

I had my Radiohead phase

But even that has loosened its grip on me.

BOC its lore and community, living through the ARG.
It really sunk its claws into me.

They are beyond a musical experience.

I was 8. I remember my dad showing it to me fondly.
