looks like a half-decent attempt at a reverse NR of AFOT that was later recorded to a tape or something like that, me and oliveoil kind of figured it's probably that a couple days after this "leak"

BTW has someone succeeded in making a reverse NR of afot?

i've done a reverse nr before, probably better than the crappy NRed version but i didn't really continue with it because the 17 track version + for friends tape versions combined only leave like 3 tracks that need any work done and sound way better anyway
The Dookster wrote:As far as I’ve been able to gather, the “For friends tape” refers to a particular set of incomplete but slightly better quality rips of tracks from both volumes of Old Tunes (better quality as in 192kbps and less noise reduction). It often gets spread around mislabeled but it’s not particularly difficult to find if you know what tracks it contains.
Here’s a link to it on archive.org, mislabeled of course: https://archive.org/details/BoardsOfCanada-AFewOldTunesVol.2/
