I take drugs, prescription, to pacify my rational thoughts for self-preservation and my ambitions so I can continue to be there for my wife, and my mother and father in their final years, my agency relinquished. And I'd hoped it'd remain possible for one day to be clear and one evening unpoisoned by hate. I am reminded by the Olympic hockey wins that should be an overwhelming sense of sporting pride, dickless, sexist hate irradiates all and condemns it to tribalist goo, and nationalistic garbage. That's one thing. I try explaining that these boys aren't villains. Nervous laughter. Young people being bad at PR. And it gets me just as far as praising the women for declining that invite to meet with a husk that never conceived of caring about them. Nowhere. I'm not livid enough. I'm so tired, guys. I'm tired of having to reply with a counterpoint for zero reason. I'm tired of this everything.
