Lol, I see the speculation has finally arrived. I don't see anything here other than some great art. WARC? We Are Reasonable Clankers? This is just some warp related thing. I don't think any of this has anything to do with boards of canada but I will happily eat my words. Warp just likes to use the speculation as a marketing tool, its like their major thing. I went to go check it out and it appears to be a fan remaster. The description leads to this Youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@mr.udders2421 which posted the same remaster. While its nothing official it seems, it is very good quality

Its not even orange. This is clearly a fake. Personally I think Boards of Canada are very unlikely to mess around with VHS at this point. Film? a lot more likely. But never VHS I think. There's been talks about film footage resurfacing for a long time, its very unlikely they would take the time to digitize it onto VHS. Most likely expect a film reel to pop up out of nowhere.

I agree. Prob attempting to wait for confirmation from warp or hs to see if this is valid and if it is okay to rip/post. Who knows if this confirmation will actually happen though.

instead of just lying, this guy names a real Ochre employee as his source, which he would either think nobody would call his bluff about, or he's telling the truth.

you have to profile these people every time a "hoax" pops up like this. this does not seem like an attention seeker looking to get under people's skin
