Register for first access? What does it mean..... just Warp newsletters or something special? I signed up anyway.

Feels like a good time to finally make my 1000th post here.

That is the most Boards of Canada-looking Boards of Canada website front page I could ever envisage.

No confirmation email yet but one will likely arrive very soon.

I'm guessing this is what they were doing when they were messing about with the old coescha server a few months ago

Do any of our resident web experts spot anything interesting within the source code? Seems fairly standard to me, but I'm definitely not as clued up as some of you guys.

Having trouble discerning if we're looking at desert or arctic tundra in that background image on the new site.

Also, 'first access'? To what? Live show tickets?! Surely not...

The telling thing for me is that the "register for first access" part is separate from the optional tickbox to receive comms from Warp. The question is what we'll get first access to.

There’s nothing weird about brainwashing at all, or how groups of people follow these cults. I certainly wouldnt pride yourself on being strong headed enough to not join one.

I remember people being told to sing happy birthday twice whilst washing their hands.

What we have today is just awful. I would rather myself or the new generations be involved in groups like WACO, Children of God, FamilyX, JimJones etc than today’s nothingness society. At least they made good music, took drugs and had wild sexual behaviours. The probably lived a lot more responsibly in terms of consumption.

I sometimes dip my toes in TikTok just for intrigue. These people are absolutely primed for their slaughter. There is nothing behind their eyes.

“Lifeless eyes, like a dolls eyes”

Someone recently mentioned the Hell interface “the internet is evil, wake up” quote as being a little naive and tongue in cheek back then. Sort of a little joke. But I think there were plenty of people at the time already bent on weaponising the internet. Research teams would have known what it would develop into. I mean, at birth it was already a weapon. What is SUPER scary to me is that we know how things will develop with people and communities. We’ve known that the collapse was going to occur for near 80 years. The utopian rat experiment was a half decent litmus test, although it had its flaws. They know about all this negative behaviour would become more and more prevalent, yet it’s been pushed to the point of biblical proportions. Bill Cooper mentioned a plan to act out revelations from the end of the bible in order to bring on the new world. We can clearly see it happening today.

Decadence is the final stage of cultural decline. Face value nothingness, celebrity worship and people ridiculing themselves in front of peers on social media to fight for awareness of some bullshit or to claim an altruistic or virtuous nature where nothing really gets achieved other than people’s own videos going viral.

People following suit like kids playing snap. Primed for slaughter and all by design. So yes. I’d say it’s safe to say that the internet was, is and will be evil. And now that it has just been adopted by its wicked stepmom (AI)… yeah. Give me David Koresh ANYTIME.

There's nothing relevant apparently (I'm a designer and web dev) but I'll dig deeper when I have some time
