To pass the time between now and Inferno, I'm reading as much Twoism as I can, including going back into the first new release speculation thread, 1180 pages(!), October 2010 to December 2024, particularly interested in April 2013 flashbacks... Just skimming the messages, digging and digging, puts into perspective how this album's release, fair or not fair, will arrive with this massive shape of negative space behind and around it. Is it even realistic to hear this new material without that sea of stored nervous energy and "aged like wine" expectancy in the same room? It'll be there and gigantic. It's probably going to be the most trite element of every review of the music, and I know I'm just stating the obvious but I don't know if it can be overstated or what other suspense+surprise to compare it to. And for a while still, the waiting is all I have to focus on. That and meticulously refining my collection, soaking up the excitement, hopefully creating something new like a mix or new video.
