I am definitely waiting until the 29th.
Those of you who claim you can't avoid it or control yourself or whatever. My advice to you is only allow yourself to listen once or twice, maybe 3 times tops.
Do not over indulge. This music is meant to be listened to all together, and the more you play this single, the less impact it will have and thus without a doubt will poke a hole in your experience of the album.
Everything you do is a balloon.
Yes. I’m going to celebrate the single tomorrow, then I’ll just use my imagination until the 22nd / 29th.
I’m wondering now if the music from the introductory video is not Introit.

I have similar thoughts. For me a BOC LP is like a movie, and a single would be like a trailer.

There’s no way I’m going to wait until the 29th. If they’re putting it now; then it’s meant to be heard now.
I’ve genuinely blocked out my calendar at work for 15:00 tomorrow so I won’t get disturbed.

I’m glad that these tracks aren’t just unceremoniously appearing on streaming services at midnight.

More power to those waiting, but I’m looking forward to listening tomorrow.
It makes it easier that it’s tracks 1 and 2, and not something from the middle of the album. More of a preview than something that would spoil you. Someone predicted this was their plan when they announced you could record the first 5 minutes of the listening events— the logic being that the material will already be out there

Pre scheduled a work break at 9am tomorrow. Will sit in my car and soak it in. Unreal that new music is being released, it truly is momentous. Cheers to all!
EDIT: I think I’ll listen to the songs first and then watch the visuals after.

Man I'm so torn over this... I'm going to be at work at that time, and I only have crappy headphones I use at work, so I'm tempted to hold off listening until I get home, but then it will be sitting there tempting me all day to listen.

I wonder is this is to make sure nothing new is leaked from the listening sessions?
I think the rules said that people could record for the first few minutes of the session and that's it - which would presumably be covered by this video already?

TFW you've waited almost 13 years, but 22 days is too much hahaha.
I think a lot of you will regret listening to the single, but to each their own.
Personally I just know that I DEFINITELY regretted listening to Reach For The Dead a bunch before Tomorrow's Harvest dropped, and I ain't repeating that mistake again.

It’s best to follow your instincts. I’ve decided that I want to celebrate this with everyone in real time, especially because the ‘single’ is the first two tracks.

I've decided I'm not going to listen but I'm also not going to avoid the forum. I think I'll get a kick out of watching your reactions and trying to imagine the music purely based on that. I'm fine waiting for that unbeatable new album excitement.

Haha, yes. I’m aspiring to listen only once.

I think this will be the first 5 mins of the listening parties too, and there will be visuals for each song from Inferno. I also think TAP05 may be involved. I am glad it is the first two songs as another poster said, it will not disrupt the flow of listening to the whole album. Almost like a starter. We've waited so long ! I am genuinely excited.

I do not regret for a minute listening to Reach for the Dead 10,000 times before Tomorrows Harvest was released and I will not regret listening to Prophecy at 1420 MHz 10,000 times over the next three weeks. I don’t really get how listening to the single could ruin a whole album of new material from a band we all love

I had multiple AI agents on pro mode analyze the image and they all converged on it most likely being a seizure warning, viewer discretion is advised kind of thing. This would make it a pretty diabolical dark joke vs. some kind of puzzle, but still kind of a clue about what we're getting. This also would be consistent with the branding so far IMO. If correct it's probably from the first few seconds of tomorrow's video. We'll find out soon enough

I think people who avoid listening to anything before the album’s release are just looking for a certain effect - it’s not that listening to a single ruins anything. Personally, I’m excited to blast the new music tomorrow.
