Interesting, it has some international vibes, especially into the opening of Prophecy at 1420 MHz, this is far more complex and weaved than TH. I am getting IABPOITC vibes here and there as well as MHTRTC. I listened to it twice, so...

As for Introit, I cannot help but think it is a wink to their obsessive fan base, it has all the hallmarks and hooks to lure and capture the Boccians out of the pond.

Listening again on proper headphones in the Edinburgh sunshine…. There’s A LOT going on isn’t there?

That middle-eastern-ish melody & the tablas… (the drums sound very “live” throughout), lots of little half familiar sounds and melodies…

I wonder if we might get a second video and single? This felt a bit like a visualizer.

What a great day! It Feels like an extraterrestrial coming down after the apocalypse posing as the new savior. Is this an Evil vs Good LP?

Yes!! Absolutely. There will be a lot of light/dark balance happening on this album. It's definitely a theme here.

JESUS H CHRISTMAS WHAT JUST HAPPENED TO MY EYES AND EARS

That RULED. More please. Need full album now, please and thank you.

Edit: Ok ok, slightly more in-depth thoughts. Trying to calm my tits a little. I LOVE the light touch on the staccatto synths. Love what sounds like a live drum kit? I love the intense drops a LOT, that really does a lot for me I am realizing. It does great things for the pacing of the song I think.

As for the visuals, I don't think I blinked the entire time and now there's programming in my brain I didn't put there. We are going full spiritual/mystic/religious deep-end, here and I am enthralled about it.

In the best way possible, the graphics and animation style in parts of the video remind me of the BBC's TV series of Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy. It's like the guide (Don't Panic) is showing Arthur the animation to accompany the entry on "Religious Cults Of Planet Earth".

Arthur: So your encyclopaedia is telling me that the philosophical beliefs of planet Earth are nothing more than religious cults?
Ford: Yes. What did you think they were?

Anyone else get Altered States vibes from the video. The song and video were SO ON POINT!

Listened to the lossless on studio headphones... the sheer amount of texture in this, as well as how pristine the production is done, is astounding.

Did anybody capture the spaceship animation counting down to the premier?

It was like the waiting room you go into before blasting off on a DMT trip, great sound design too!

Subsequent hearings on headphones. It gets better hidden depths emerge, like all their work. It sounds 'dirtier' / industrial to my ears with similar chord changes to Treat Em Right. Wonder if came out of same sessions ?

The more recent comments on Reddit are a lot more positive!

Not that I spend much time on there, it's a bit of a junk-pile, but I had to look out of curiosity.

Me, just now, telling my sister - who really likes IABPOITC and the cult vibes - about it: That was a pamphlet. This is gonna be a BIBLE.

That's uncanny in how similar Prophecy is to that song!
