That's uncanny in how similar Prophecy is to that song!

Uploaded 13 years ago, too.

Such an interesting track. Feels kinda lighthearted but with a strong bleak undertone to it. Production is top notch, strongly reminded me of Treat ‘Em Right which is great. Can’t wait to see how bleaker it gets on the following tracks though…

Did anyone decipher anything or find any references from the lyrics? I feel like they’re supposed to be read a certain way.

This will sound like hyperbole but I'm a few listens in and I think these two tracks will be my favourite openers of all the albums given time. Prophecy is just so sublime and an absolute banger. So intricate, so BOC. Yeah, I'm pretty hyped right now.

My ears were grinning when I hit the play button. So good. It's nice to have the bros back in play.

I wonder when the first round of interviews will drop? (If they decide to do any this time round, that is)
I went to a barber as I wanted some highlights. He gave me a video of old haircuts.

Ok I need to stop listening to this now. That’s 4 listens. Too many really.
I don’t want this to become a track I skip on the album.

Yes, haha. I’m walking around in the sun after listening to Treat Em Right thinking about the new music like TREAT EM LIKE A PROSTITUTE / TRE TRE TRE TREAT EM LIKE A PROSTITUTE

I’m off to the pub to write more.

I hear you, but I can't stop listening to it. There is so much detail and I'm hearing nuances each listen. Bloody marvelous.

Just enjoyed a second viewing. I have a quasi-theory that the 5 minute mark is where the transition to the next set of visuals will begin at the Inferno Sessions. The images slowly fade out in this music video, but this could just be one edit. They want people at the sessions to stop filming after 5 minutes, so that might be to preserve the element of surprise for what might come next.

The video looks like it's influenced by John Whitney animations.

The lag on word consciousness makes me think the voice is an AI. Sounds like AI psychosis.

I see it got a play on 6Music's New Music Fix show earlier on. I guess this marks the first official radio play for the single? At least in the UK anyway.

Wonder if Smooth Chill will play it?

The visuals, themes, and processed vocals all remind me of Han Tyumi, which is sick because it's the thing I liked the most out of the entire King Gizzard catalog. Similar concept, different execution. https://youtu.be/4zUPTPlkqDg?si=Fa0q5gba6ZlQH2KB&t=222

I did notice that. I have a few of the John Whitney animations that I used to project over Pink Floyd's DSOTM. I do like this style of video as some tracks paint a pattern rather than a story imo.
