I have the feeling that they might prefer to let art speak for itself this time.
Just my impression...

They're featured in the July edition of Uncut magazine so I'm not so sure about that.

Seems that way, it's always nice to check in with them though and hear their take on what's happening in the world. I think it's fair to say the fanbase are as adoring of them as people as they are of their music. They always have such insightful and enjoyable interviews. Will be a shame but I understand. It's all about the art.

Thanks ! I really have to get that edition with Jim O'rourke, Kate Bush, Jeff Goldblumm, Ian Curtis, Costello and even some rare Frippetronics.

Fucking LOVE a bit of Frippertronics and Soundscapes. I think listening to his solo stuff and his work with David Sylvian is one of the reasons I took to Boards so easily. Felt like a natural segue.

Yes, going by that info, it doesn't look like an interview. Just a review, but hopefully an extended detailed one with some insight?
Though anything would be nice, I'll give it a look for sure.

***Spoiler alert***
Then if it's an in-depth review, it seems to be a huge wow.

Anyone remember a few years back when the mysterious Stargate Editorial promoted a feature on Boards of Canada to be included in their third issue, but after months passed with no updates about it, all references to it just disappeared without a trace?

Has anyone received a shipping confirmation from Bleep yet? I'm starting to think I won't get this on release date... bummer.

I haven't, but I'm in the UK so wouldn't expect one until probably early next week.

My first listen is gonna be the FLAC of the continuous mix on headphones out in the nearby countryside - partly because it won't matter if my LP and CD don't arrive in time. Fingers crossed they do though obviously, cannot wait to hold this thing in my hands!

They have an estimated shipping date on the order confirmation email. Mine is May 26. Delivery estimate 2-7 working days.

Base on the announcement they made the day after pre orders were taken, the date on this confirmation seems to be what they are going by.

When do we think the digital versions that come with the bleep physical preorders will actually release on the 29th? Midnight? Sometime in the afternoon? Which time zone???

Could also be a play on the WOW signal.
Probably both!
Could this be the best BOC record yet?
I’m not reading that review until after release though…
Going dark starting tomorrow.

I'have had quite the week. so busy. and it has helped ease this experience of going from days-with-double-digits-of-waiting to days-with-single-digits-of-waiting (literally eight days I cannot believe). because I do'not have the time to perseverate and rehash the same forum posts.

stoked (is an understatement).

When I placed the order originally, it had a shipping date of May 26th, but after checking Bleep's order page just now, it no longer has the 26th mentioned anywhere, just:

"Pre-order. Estimated release date:
May 29, 2026
Shipping: Courier (Tracked)
Delivery estimate: 3–5 working days from dispatch."

I'm in Canada, and the May 26th timeline I have in my original order email would put it arriving on, or juuuuuust after my birthday. I really hope that my order still falls within those timelines and isn't pushed back. Hell, I got in within 3hrs of the presale going live.
