Maybe that’s more reason to listen to it anyway. Challenge yourself..

Are you memeing? Yeah satanic backmasking, fever dream replications, child exploiting cult leaders, demonic mind control ain’t shit. It’s dayvan cowboys and sports car fantasies where the real horror is

Samplehunter wrote:Jacquard Causeway is a borefest, and Cold Earth and Nothing Is Real are dull.
Also, sometimes, Tomorrow's Harvest hardly sounds like it's Boards of Canada.
Cupz wrote:Agree. The songwriting on TH is a bit of a slog. Or I don't have the patience for it at least. Maybe should have just ditched the percussion entirely.

I completely disagree, Jacquard Causeway is my favorite song of theirs and a masterpiece in my opinion.

Every voice in the song starts to sound like it’s crying beautifully toward the end.

TaoTapeTao wrote:But I will say, the placement of New Seeds into Come to Dust is absolutely dreadful. I don't know why they put those two together at the end. The whole fucking album still feels like a drag by the end when it gets to those two back-to-back. I would've actually preferred if they gutted one of the two, or ended the record altogether earlier just with semena.

Yeah, apart from Dayvan Cowboy, it's quite unusual for BoC to try to do "epic" stuff like on Reach for the Dead and Come to Dust.
