Just had an interesting thought...

As our bodies get older, things tend to start wrinkling, sagging, drooping, etc. Do you think this would have any effect on the pitch of our hearing as we age? Is it possible that the timpanic membrane could also loosen or soften up among the other various parts of our bodies as we get older?

On top of that, given that the structure of everyone's body is different in some way or another, do you think the general pitch we hear things at could also be different than another persons? Is it entirely possible that we're all hearing things differently than everyone else?

Maybe this is a little of what effects people's music tastes...

How can you tell what you experience as the colour green, a square or a D flat are the same as what anyone else experiences? You can never be inside anyone else's head and it's pretty hard to describe eh? spaaaacey... :lol:
