Yeah, it's funny how the most simple things like color, sound, smell, are the most difficult to describe to someone. People really do need their brains.

How can you tell what you experience as the colour green, a square or a D flat are the same as what anyone else experiences? You can never be inside anyone else's head and it's pretty hard to describe eh? spaaaacey...

This type of thought never occurs to me anymore when I'm stoned, it must be my tolerance! Tripping will bring out these types of thoughts for me though

I wasn't even stoned when I thought of it. Just some random thought. I can't remember what set it off though...

I think like that when sober. Stoning on my own tends to bring out my 'what if...' side even more

just got back from creeping round an abandoned boatyard at five in the morning, stoned off my tits, on my own. With a camera.

I'm not normally one to get worried by wee furry rodents, but this place was swarming wi rats and I was wearing some particularly baggy combats... was convinced one of the little fuckers was gonna go running up into my boxers.

There was a house out here that a couple of friends and I would go rummaging around in. We lovingly referred to it as crazy house. It was situated out in the middle of a forest. To get to it, you'd have to walk a half mile long trail of broken run down cars, computer equipment, and various other old junk that increased in age the closer you got to the place itself... which was absolutely frightening! Around the back of the house was 2 tubs. One was filled with nothing but old 70's porn, the other with womens underwear.

Apparently this house had been abandoned for years. The guy who lived there was in prison or something... but it still had electricity! You go into the place and find the ceiling completely caved in, old junk, papers, you name it, stacked all over the place. A total condemned disaster area. We dug around in a file cabinet and found tons of newspaper clippings on animal abuse and various other weird shit. Some of it was this guys arrest records and other info on his family.

What's this got to do with anything? Well, those boat pictures reminded me of this place. Haven't been there in years though. Wonder if it's still around.

Holy fuck, there was a place like that just up the road from my house. The driveway was really long and straight and it was all run down..but someone bought it a couple years back and now its not-abandoned..heh. I remember going there with a bunch of friends...it creeped us all out, a lot..the basement was something outta a 70s horror film, earth floor, pitch black as you went further in. Really old newpapers and porn & other mags lying in the dirt. all the upstairs walls were torn down and there were huge holes in the floor, people had spray painted shit everywhere and TVs and other junk were strewn about. In the backyard was this creepy shack with a overstuffed sofa chair and a dog dish and chain with a collar...twas wack.

Man, I'm surrounded by stuff like that. There's the boatyard (which is absolutely huge btw, and has lots and lots of dark cellars which go quite a long way underground), there's the abandoned train station, the old lino factory, a couple of abandoned houses on my street, the fuck-off big mansion in the woods that was across from my high school where we used to go to get baked (man, that was crazy... when I first strted smoking at about 12-13 it was like the best place in the world to hang out- memories  ) and my personal favourite, the old meterological station in tayport. That's my friend Robbie's personal practice spot for graffitti, and he's got pretty good over the years. The walls are covered in really good graff, It's in the woods but right next to a beautiful beach, and you can get right up on the roof and see for miles. I really want to organise a wee rave down there this summer... there's this one room with a a huge empty floor and a little raised space which would be perfect to put some decks/laptop... premade dancefloor :D
