Moderators: Aesthetics, Drones, Hexagon Sun

No gigs nor any commercial lameness? I'm cool with that.
Although if I were a musician the size of BoC and I knew there were hundreds or thousands of fans eagerly awaiting new material I would probably feel that a website update would be very much in place. I can understand why the brothers like to live in the shadow but putting out your products in mass quantities (as opposed to limited releases) inevitably will generate fans who like to keep up to date.
Ah well, no hard feelings. I bet there's something cooking in the Pentland Hills
i understand your frustration, but what band on the planet puts updates on their website when they're in the middle of recording a new record? nobody!...
*aghum* radiohead?
hexagon son wrote:opinion is clearly divided here, but keeping your website up to date is in order really, ala why??? remix. and i dont know why a certain someone on here is moaning about the website and BoC not having time to it, because i heard that someone maintains the website for them.
and one question for you Najm ad-Din Ayyub, are you a member of hexagon sun? thats all i want to know. if you do not reply i will assume you are only here to flamebait or spread misinformation. i'm not asking you to tell us if you have any specific sources, i just want an answer to the above question. simple YES or NO will suffice.

True, but Najm ad-Din Ayyub is always speaking as if he has inside knowledge. It would be interesting to know if he actually does, or whether he just likes the attention.
Najm ad-Din Ayyub wrote:hexagon son wrote:what are your sources for this? i seem to have gotten the impression that they are not workinh together in the same room at the same time anymore from interviews i have read...
that's probably just a misunderstanding from something you read. magazine interviews are not the best place to get info right as they're usually pieced together from dictaphone recordings. - i know the band personally - they still do most of their work at the main studio (they have three studios, and i'm doing something for our next record with them at hexagon sun).
Najm ad-Din Ayyub wrote:The Other wrote:i think its a double edge sword. i would like to see maybe a little sign of life...an update a mysterious post...something..only thing is, if it's something little like new pictures on the website or the background changes it will only make matters worse..speculation will start flying, i will be anxious and on the edge of my seat for something more concrete..all that is fun but dammit man, i am already to that point now. so i guess at this point i would rather i have an update like....New LP is coming out 04/15/2008 with a make over to the website or a video like invacation with just a date at the end...
either way...something will eventually come...
as far as i know the release date is not finalised yet so what is there to tell you?!

this particular thread can bite me, i quit. argue about it and whine all you want, but that's my opinion and it stands.
