i'm high again, after nearly two weeks. i had such an awesome night with my friend amanda that i felt the conditions were right to get high such that i wouldn't regret it for any reason, so we smoked a bowl.

i think i'm gonna try to limit my smoking to weekends.

man i'm the most baked i've been in months.

i'll probably do shrooms tomorrow. a friend of mine is gonna do 7 grams of shrooms and a hit of acid. i sort of wanted to join him in that but i didn't have enough money so i'm only doing 4 grams. he's gonna end up talking to a lamp or something i figures.

i'll probably make it online sometime after the peak. man i missed the internets, the one i was stealing was going dead all the time, i guess overloaded with people stealing it. it got me to get my own though so whatever.

so, i remember a similar thread awhile ago about distracting noises in the atp/warp live sets. i couldn't find it using search, so apologize if i'm retreading here. there's a hilarious (although fucking-annoying) moment in ATP track 7 where in my copy it sounds like someone getting hit in the face and the noises afterwards... i hope that's not a sample in the background?.... anyway, i just heard it because i'm baked for the first in awhile. figured i'd transcribe it. maybe you can hear it too?

Can some of you guys explain what you like about weed? I have been smoking it occasionally for months now, but I never really understand what it does to me, or why I like it.

Also, when on shrooms, does anyone find the last hours of the trip to be an incredibly boring experience where you feeling complete apathy and disconnection from everything?

What do I like about weed...Everything is better. It enhances my appreciation of everything. Music, food, friends, etc. (Everything) just becomes better. The mood lift in general is awesome.


As for the shroom trip, I find the ending rather nice. I always get to a point (with LSD too, which I do a lot more than shrooms) where I'm no longer 'tripping' but in a good mood. It's a time to process the experience you just had, and is much like being *very* happy normally, to me at least.

edit: And making music while high is awesome. Unfortunantly I've been too broke to smoke much lately, but it makes me so much more creative.

And hydrocodone is real nice right now...
