Okay, I can't remember which forum I saw this on watmm or twosim. I ran a few searches on both forums with no luck. Does anyone remember where to find the list of instruments that BoC uses? Pls give me a hand, this is killing me.

That's pretty cool. But of coarse, not what I was looking for. Thanks for posting that though.

You can hum through all holes. The trick is to use that instrument on the most weird manner

This forum has become so stupid, somebody asks a normal question and only receives shit.
To 747: If you read through the interviews on Freddys pages, M. and M. explain a lot. Akai S1000, Logic Audio, Korg M1, just to name a few pieces of gear...
Cheers. Esky

There's never been any sort of comprehensive list of BoC gear posted, either officially or unofficially. The band's been a bit secretive about it, what with sly references to a "secret weapon" and reports that their live gear had stickers covering the labels. As Esky notes, however, they have opened up a bit more in their last batch of [wiki]interviews[/wiki], dropping the names of a few pieces of kit among them; but much of what they mention are tape decks and samplers, not musical instruments directly.

Otherwise there's been much debate about it in the past, particularly on WATMM, based on the expertise of others who make music, but I leave that up to those who know more about gear than I do...

I started an [wiki]equipment[/wiki] page on the [wiki]wiki[/wiki] to collect what is known, but it's horribly incomplete. Feel free to update it with anything you find.

"If I told you what the secret weapon is, it wouldn't be a secret anymore. We have more than one really. We use a mixture of old and new equipment. We don't have lots of synths, we use hi-fi gear and other tricks to achieve our sound."

Can you upload that clip somewhere else, maybe? I can't get on it without a WATMM account.

The list I saw a while back must have been fake then. It was a huge list that claimed to be incomplete even so. If someone does stumble across it, please do post it here still.

I've read through all of the interviews a while back and have frequented that site for years, even back when davidac was in control. I'll stick with the equipment page on the wiki from now on.

Thanks for the assistance.

I'd be interested in seeing that list anyway.
