Thanks for posting that. It really shows that there is very little difference.

Exactly. Sure the graphics and handling are a tiny bit better on PS3, but barely. It all comes down to multiplayer, what system your friends have is the one you wanna get so you can play with them.

Thanks to you guys I now have to get myself a PS3. :(

I'll get a PS3 light edition, 40Gb and some USB ports are missing, CompactFlash-, Memory Stick- and SD-ports and the backwards compatibility chip is missing too. This all combined with a phono supscription incl a Motorola F3, only to play GTA IV 8)
Well, also because I needed a new supscription..

Let's hope it'll arrive here soon.

Rampaging around New York one of the most amazingly fun things to do in a game, period.
Black then White are all I see in my infancy...Red and Yellow then came to me, reachin' out to me, lets me see...

After playing this now for 2 months (just finished the main story) I can easily say that it's the best in the series. As I said a few years ago it's more and more like being an actor in a movie. A great storyline with lots of unexpected changes/happenings.

The only disadvantage is the auto-aim, it's way better than GTA-SA on the PS2 but it didn't always do what I wanted to do. The lightning of daily periods are fantastic, the sunsets, fog and rain are very realistic too.

i concur: the game is wonderful. i've finished the story mode about a month ago and i'm still playing like frenzy: the fun keeps on coming! by the way: yesterday, i stopped by a games store, and the owner gave me this nice/funny little statue of happiness statue (yes). nothing special but it made me smile :)

EDIT:

By the way Aesthetics, do you (or anyone else) play the online GTA? Cause if so, you should post yer PSN-name so we can kick ass online together

GTA IV is the best GTA I've played by far, the characters are much more engrossing than in previous games. Vice City was quite good but I prefered the game Mafia, and I wasn't into the gangsta stuff in San Andreas.

PC version soon :)

Lame. People who play PC games that are on actual Platforms don't have actual platforms. That game runs the best on PS3. Better hardware.

Don't go there again. The gameplay is by far better on PC.. why else do you think that GTA IV has this autolock feature? because it was annoying to shoot with GTA SA on PS2!

To me gameplay is way more important than graphics
