Here's mine at the moment.
If you're into Astronomy, NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day gallery is a tremendous source of daily spectacular images.
The one in my desktop is yesterday's entry and shows the beautifullest composite I've seen of the famous dying star Eta Carinae, distant 8000 light years, which is thought to become soon the next and one of the brightest stellar supernovas seen so far.

Gijsco's Last.fm Desktop Generatoris a program for last.fm users. It downloads your personal data,
and generates a beautiful desktop wallpaper.

Everytime I turn on my PC I'll have another variation. Great little last.fm gadget. There are also screensavers like this.
