Cynar artichoke liqueur. Who needs veggies when you can get all your antioxidants from booze!

Organic pineapple juice. Amazing but so expensive. I'll just make my own. And this bad ass ice cream from Strauss Farms you can find at Whole Foods called Brown Sugar Banana. OMG

Hah I don't deny that it sounds bad. When I saw it in the store I thought it was bizarre, and had to try it. Not bad! Certainly different. A little bitter and a little sweet (maybe not from sugar, or if so, not much). It has 12 other undisclosed plant ingredients besides artichoke; I eat artichoke regularly and I can't say I taste artichoke when I drink it.

Averna sicilian liqueur 58 proof. Another "amaro" or "digestif" style liqueur with undisclosed herbs. Great stuff! Highly recommend. I'll be trying all these types of liqueurs. I'm a fan of herbs/spices and complex flavors.

Rio 2 on DVD. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt2357291/

Bleeding edge of popular culture, me...

(It's actually pretty good - although not a patch on original Rio).

(And it came with a free Rio 2 beach ball).
