Hah I don't deny that it sounds bad. When I saw it in the store I thought it was bizarre, and had to try it. Not bad! Certainly different. A little bitter and a little sweet (maybe not from sugar, or if so, not much). Averna sicilian liqueur 58 proof. Another "amaro" or "digestif" style liqueur with undisclosed herbs. Great stuff! Highly recommend. I'll be trying all these types of liqueurs. I'm a fan of herbs/spices and complex flavors.
